The IMPEL Network
IMPEL (European Network for the Implementation and Enforcement of Environmental Law) is an informal network of today 29 countries.

Within the framework of the EU-IMPEL network CENTRIC AUSTRIA was main organiser of several workshops and conferences providing a platform to exchange experiences in different fields of environmental law for civil servants (legal and technical experts) from EU Member States, European Commission, EU Accession Countries and EEA countries, who are working in the specific field of the enforcement of environmental law on national, regional and local levels.
- IMPEL Workshop 1998 on alternative fuels for incineration in cement plants
- IMPEL-Workshop 2000 on the use of chlorinated hydrocarbons in industrial plants in Ossiach, Austria.
- IMPEL 2000 Conference on environmental compliance and enforcement in Villach, Austria. The 3-day conference served for the first time as a broad platform of information, discussion and exchange of experience in a unique combination of plenary and topic sessions. 160 experts of 26 states participated at this conference and have been supported by CENTRIC AUSTRIA in the best way.
With these events CENTRIC AUSTRIA was internationaly recognised as an outstanding standard setting conference organisation.
