More than 100 member cities
Energie-Cités is a non-profit organisation of European municipalities committed to energy management and willing to share their experience and know-how. There are about 100 member cities and projects have been carried out with more than 250 European cities. Main activities are the exchange of experiences in the field of energy management, the promotion of renewable energy and the protection of the environment as well as the Observation and dissemination of municipal projects in the field of energy efficiency and renewables.

Know-how exchange among municipalities
Energie-Cities possesses in-depth knowledge and broad experience as a forum for know-how exchange among European municipalities: It organises seminars, working groups and training courses, actions designed to raise awareness among European cities by editing and publishing information material and documents, etc.
Energie-Cities regularly circulates its publications to key European municipalities, to local and regional energy agencies and to national associations of local authorities specialised in energy management matters. It also circulates the different publications produced by the cities that work with Energie-Cités to local energy management agencies and to national associations of municipalities.
Energie-Cities has a team of 11 people - from 4 nationalities - specialised in urban energy management on the European scale, including one permanent representative in the Brussels' office.
Energie-Cities edits a magazine (2.000 copies) sent two times a year to about 2.000 addresses (eg. 450 European Cities, to local energy management agencies European and national institutions).
Energie-Cities is maintaining and updating an electronic database containing good practice as well as the persons responsible for energy management and renewables in the EU cities.
