About us
GIA is a Non Profit and autonomous entity, which provides and focuses on a wide range of services for industrial growth and harmony in Gurgaon. GIA came into existence in 1966 and with a mere start with 9 members, today more than 400 Industrial Units are its members. GIA is the only parent Industries Association in Gurgaon and it enrolls only Manufacturers as its members.
Members of this Association represent practically in all fields of Automobile Parts/Engineering goods, Pharmaceuticals, sports goods, Poultry & agricultural product, garments, vegetable foods processing industry, oil processing, commercial and professional tools industry, rubber & plastic moulded parts, pesticides & fertilizers, hygienic foods processing industries. Machinery/equipment manufacturers, soaps & detergents, computer & peripheral and cosmetic etc.
Recognising the role played by the Association in speeding up industrialization in Gurgaon District, Government of Haryana allotted a plot of land to it to build its own Office Complex and accordingly the Association is now functioning from its own magnificent Office Complex christened as “GIA HOUSE”, GIA Marg, Industrial Development Colony (IDC), Mehrauli Road, Gurgaon having modern communication facilities, office equipments and a spacious air-conditioned Conference Hall to hold Industrial Seminars/Workshops for the benefit of the industries in the District.

Activities
To promote Industrial Activities in the District. - To propose/recommend various suggestions to Government on various subjects related to industries. - To participate in the discussion on framing industrial policy of the State To discuss common problems being faced by the industries and represent the same effectively with Government. - To promote, protect, develop and encourage the industries in Gurgaon. - Conduct Seminars, Workshops on various Industrial subjects. - Hold Interactive Sessions with Senior Government Officials on various issues. - Orgasise socioculturel programmes. - Solving individual Issues

Confederation of Indian Industry - CII’S Haryana State Council - PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Delhi - Central Excise Public Grievance Committee & Regional Advisory Committee - Monitoring Committee – Industrial Grievances, DHBVN, Gurgaon - Implementation of Asia Invest Programme in Gurgaon with financial aid from European Commission.
