Third company workshop

The third company workshop was conducted from September 4 - 6, 2007. The materials were prepared by EU experts Colum Gibson and Gerhard Weihs and Wolfgang Weissel. The international mission was conducted by Gerhard Weihs and Wolfgang Weissel with back office support by Colum Gibson. Further presentations on Mongolian EMS standards were prepared by the Mongolian partner.

The workshop was attended by representatives of all except one company, who had during the week an internal revision. After classroom activities individual meetings with some of the companies took place in the evening to discuss company specific questions.

Beside observation: This workshop broke a record in gender respects; 100 % of the attending company representatives were women, which however is as we were told to our surprise a very normal thing in Mongolia, where women play an incomparable bigger role in business and public social life.
