Objectives

• Providing training on - Cleaner Production practices, Environmental Management, creating corporate social responsibility and health and safety measures - to Mongolian business intermediaries and companies to prepare them to access the EU marketplace which becomes more and more sensitive and to social and environmental issues. This project contributes to the global environmental protection programs and contributes in a long term effect to the poverty reduction in the country.
• Organizing collaborative workshops with Mongolian standards and quality management organizations on Environmental Management Systems.
• Upgrading the marketing skills and technical know-how of Mongolian SMEs of interest to European companies with a view to enhancing their performance in potential partnerships.
• The exchange of best practice, production techniques, technological know-how (related to the participating sectors), emphasis on the project’s relevance in facilitating EU-Mongolia trade relations and co-operation.
