Summary of objectives and activities per phase

Inception phase

Objectives of the inception phase:

Prepare project implementation with all partners. Final selection of all actors and check of division of tasks in mutual understanding. Agree on all organisational, personal and financial terms according to the proposed work plan and contract conditions. Refining and adjusting planning, if necessary and recommended. Prepare utilities for the seminar and training activities of the main implementation phase.

Activities during the inception phase:

04 - Final selection of Chinese experts attending the seminars

Main implement-tation phase

Objectives of the implementation phase:

Implement the seminar activities. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of project progress.

Activities during the implementation phase:

05 - First bloc of training & seminars in China (Basics of CO₂ management)

06 - Second bloc of training & seminars in China (Energy audit)

07 - Third bloc of training & seminars in China (CO₂ assessment and company strategy for CO₂ reduction)

08 - Fourth bloc of training & seminars in Europe (Emission trading)

The training & seminar activities are following the logical line from understanding to implementation. The four seminar blocs are linked with seminar papers worked out by the Chinese experts under supervision and guidance by the EU experts and practical exercises.

Final phase

Objectives of the final phase:

Evaluation, saving project results and dissemination.
