Target groups

The direct and indirect beneficaries of the project are and can be quanitfied according to the stakeholder analysis as follows:

The applicant

The beneficary, who is responsible of the project in front of the European Commission, is the applicant CENTRIC AUSTRIA INTERNATIONAL. He will be involved with five international experts in the minimum and two local experts of the Chinese member of the association (see description of the applicant).

The Chinese partner

The Asian counterpart/partner of the EU applicant is the Tianjin Foundry and Forging Industrial Association. The organisation is based on membership of 250 companies (see description of the partner).

Participating Chinese companies

15 Chinese companies have been pre-selected and have expressed their interest to participate in the project. These companies are representative of the foundry industry sector in the categorie of SMEs (100 - 1000 employees). Company profiles are attached to the description of the Chinese partner organisation.

Participating Chinese consultants

There were pre-selected three experts per name, who will participate in the project as Chinese consultants to be trained to the level of trainers. CVs are attached to the Annex.

Involved EU companies

Several EU companies, which will be identified during the project activity 'technology assessment', will get the concrete opportunity to present their products and services during the match making activities in the project activity 'business mission to Europe'.

Indirect beneficaries

There will be a number of indirect beneficaries, who will benefit from the project in several ways:

· Further Chinese companies, which are not participating directly, will learn about the project from project publications and outputs.

· Further European companies will get information about business opportunities resulting from the project outcomes.

· Tinanjin City will benefit: people through improved environmental conditions, employees (women and men) through safer working conditions.

· PR China will benefit: Government and institutions through guidelines how to replicate the approach; people through continuous improvements of environment and economy (long term objective).
