Ningxia CDM Service Centre (NXCDM)

The centre was set up in October, 2003 and is the first provincial CDM consultant organization in China financed by Beijing Keji Consulting Co., Ltd. International cooperation projects on climate change with relevant agencies from Canada, UK, Italy and Japan have been successfully undertaken by NXCDM. NXCDM specializes in CDM project development. The skilled fields include: Renewable Energy Power Generation Project, Coal Mine Methane Recovery & Utilization Project, Landfill Gas Recovery and Utilization Project, Energy Saving and Efficiency Improvement Project.

• Follow up and research on global climate change issues

Farm/ Bio Gas
The cattle farm was established in 1962 and produces milk and dairy products. By the end of 2006, 50,000 tons of fresh milk have been produced annually and more than 300 tons of fresh milk have been processed daily. The company owns a Bio Gas Generation Plant as well, which was established in cooperation with the Ningxia CDM Service Centre.
The Bio gas reactor produces energy for the heating supply for the company and workers homes. The production is about 350m³ per day. Still there are options for the company to improve Cleaner Production in other departments of the workshop.
