Cleaner Production Campaign

As a follow up of the project, Cleaner Production Campaigns will be conducted to institutionalise Cleaner Production in China.

As a preparation a training on business planning for Cleaner Production Campaigns was developed. This training was supplemented with various templates on marketing, business and financial planning. More than 33 participants participated at the training from 12th – 15th January in Sanya, Hainan province.

In the first half of 2010 all provinces have produced a full Cleaner Production Campaign outline in the format of a business plan. All plans were presented during the Study Tour in Europe and commented on by the CP experts from CAI, CTC and ACCA21 as well as by their peers. As a next step it is foreseen to review the plans and put them into practice, especially regarding the financing of the Campaigns. In the final phase of the project local and international experts will develop action plans for these campaigns and present them to local and regional authorities for approval.
