Cleaner Production Pilot Projects
Cleaner Production Pilot Projects will be conducted in selected enterprises to serve as show cases for the benefits of Cleaner Production as well as to motivate other enterprises to follow up. In each target region two to three enterprises will be selected out of the most important sectors in the regions. These companies will be committed to work with the local and international project team on implementing Cleaner Production during the next 12 months. The international and local experts will visit the Chinese pilot companies periodically (three one-day visits per company during 12 months) to held workshops and give advice. As a follow up, local experts will provide on site coaching through further visits. The international experts will provide backstop support via email.
