Ⅰ Company Profile

Founded in 1996 and located in northern suburb of Xi'an, Reims Group is a modern large beer producer with Tsingtao Brewery Company Ltd holding the controlling stake.

Ⅱ Products and Process

The primary products are Tsingtao Beer and Reims beer series, with an annual output of 300,000 kiloliters. Its production process involves raw material grinding, fermenting, filtering, sterilizing, can purging and packing.

Ⅲ CPA Objective and Achievement Status

The cleaner production audit lasted for twelve months; it started in December 2008 and ended in December 2009. The objective and achievement status of the cleaner production is shown in Table 1.

Ⅳ Cleaner Production Audit Options and Benefits

There are altogether 12 clean production options completed in this cleaner production audit, eight of which are none/low cost options and four are middle/high cost options. Main options include water saving management and motor frequency conversion and so on. The summary of implementation effects of the options is shown in Table 2.
