Founded in March 2005, located in Shuangfeng Industrial Zone, Hefei, this company is a hightech

enterprise that integrates the production, management and technological development

of amino acid.

Ⅱ Products and Process

The main products of this company are amino acids series, and the designed annual sales are

2000 tons. The production processes include preparation, fermentation, enzymatic reaction,

decoloration and centrifugal drying of sterile air.

The cleaner production audit lasted 17 months; it began in August 2008, and ended in

December 2009. The objective and achievement status of the cleaner production is shown in

Table 1．

Ⅳ Cleaner Production Audit Options and Benefits

There were altogether 46 completed cleaner production options, of which 41 were none/

low cost options and 5 were middle/high cost options. Main options include coal quality

improvement and cooling tower renovation. The summary of the implementation effects of the

options is shown in Table 2.
