Ⅰ Company Profile

It is founded in 2001 in the Pingjibao Town, Xixia District, Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia. It is an excellent enterprise, specialized in manufacturing and processing milk products.

Ⅱ Products and Process

Its main milk products include milk, yogurts and bacteria-free milk with 20 thousand tons of annual outputs. Its main processes include inspection of milk materials, purification, cooling storage, anti-bacteria, brewing, cooling and packaging, etc.

Ⅲ CPA Objective and Achievement Status

Started in November, 2008, the cleaner production audit work has been finished in December, 2009, lasting for 13 months. The audit objective and achievement status of the company's cleaner production is shown in Table 1.

Ⅳ Cleaner Production Audit Options and Benefits

Five options have been developed and implemented in this cleaner production audit. The major options include improvement of the waste concentration system and treatment of waste water of milk products process and so on, all of which are none / low cost options. With all of above cleaner production options implemented, the manufacturing efficiency is enhanced and the water resource is saved. They can help the company save the water for manufacturing worth 6,000 yuan annually.
