Ⅰ Company Profile

Founded in 1978, the company completed its reform of turning into a shareholding system on

May 18, 2004. Located in Deyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan

Province, the company runs various businesses, including profiled bar production, machinery manufacturing, road & bridge & housing construction, material circulation, material distribution, casting, refractory materials, food and entertainment. Its annual revenue reaches more than 600 million Yuan.

Ⅱ Products and Process

The company's main products are casting and forging (blank) as well as parts of medium and large machinery and equipment, with an annual output of 30,000 tons and 15,000 tons respectively. Production process includes electric furnace process, moulds, and casting mold test.

Ⅲ CPA Objective and Achievement Status

The cleaner production audit started in December 2008, and ended in December 2009. The audit objective and achievement status of cleaner production is shown in Table 1.

Ⅳ Cleaner Production Audit Options and Benefits

Ten cleaner production options have been developed and implemented in this cleaner production audit work, including 9 none/low cost options and 1 middle/high cost option. These options mainly include the method of using gas hot air heating device replacing coke oven gas to heat alloy, crown block brake transformation and so on. The summary of the implementation effects of the options is shown in Table 2.
