Emission trading
| The trading of CO2 emissions is only one option of CO2 management. The more it is important to raise a close understanding of this instrument. Two aspects have to be highlighted: First, not all CO2 reduction measures are automatically eligible for an emission trading projects; a number of conditions has to be taken into account. Second, most of CO2 reduction measures are beside a possible potential for emission trading, if so, worth to be realised, because of more immediate benefits for a company (cost savings, increased productivity and efficiency, etc.). |
