Clean energy from the net
Large-scale installations have the advantage, that the costs per units produced are lower in general. Energy transformation can be done more efficient in co-generation plants. Even bio-mass or dump-gas can be used as fuels. Filter technologies, if required through the fuels used, can be installed better. It is recommended to improve local air quality through energy (heat, cool) from the net where suitable.
- Regulations: The most effective measure is to outline districts in a city, where buildings are fostered to connect with the net.
- New services: Voluntarily connection to the net can be achieved through package offers from the energy supply company, which changes to an energy service company. In this case accounting basis are not consumed kilowatts, but recieved services (eg. a warm or cold room). Marketing is made along the line of better and guaranteed comfort.
- Effects: Better use of raw energy, lower emissions in the surrounding. Energy companies get a bigger number of customers. Medium-scale installations, even on bio-mass or bio-gas fuels basis, can be erected in districts or new residential areas.
- Obstacles to be aware: Customers often fear that accounting and billing could be to their disadvantage. Modern systems make this to an outdated argument. Utilities are not interested and want to continue as usual. In this case only the owner can interfer or legal measures have to be taken.
